New Bluetooth RCE 0.1 firmware arrived from Google’s Android Red team and it marks the first firmware for Android 8.0+ to be available for work in software port. While the brand new firmware is not a software update, it does offer an offline mode similar to Bluetooth 4.1. This gives 2 device compatibility for most Android operating systems, including Android.
The Bluetooth RCE 0.1 firmware comes from Nexus Support. Nexus Support previously released Ice Cream Sandwich as an update.
Bluetooth 0.1 uses the Android UI as a background structure. On both the smartphone and the tablet version of Android, it solves the Bluetooth interface problems users had with losing connection since Android 4.0+. At first, this seems to solve a subset of failures.
The update also improves the battery performance, helps improve UI performance, eliminates the poor audio setup presented in Android 2.2 and brings a couple of fixes for Bluetooth.
We found this updated firmware to be very functional with both open and closed applications. The most significant issue with the firmware was the low battery.
The main smartphone application by Google, Android Marketplace includes another down-to-life mode similar to Bluetooth 4.0 that requires 25 percent battery life. It works for most apps, including Safari, WhatsApp, apps that connect to Bluetooth accessories, Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth wireless headsets, Bluetooth monitor, Bluetooth accessory chargers, and more.
It also allows for secure music playback via PMT or the built-in speakers. It can be used as a background radio channel with little control over music playback.
You can choose your single application or download it from the Internet for free.
Nexus Support announced that the new firmware was available yesterday. The only way to get a firmware update is through Google Play.
